Lecture Highlights

  1. Inventories and photographs when you move in so owner can't accuse you of damaging anything
  2. Report all repairs
  3. Make sure there's a radiator - heating not req'd by law
  4. Make sure the landlord won't plonk you with a professional cleaning bill before you leave
  5. LOCATED NEAR A SUPERMARKET (this is in the booklet. i have proof!)
  6. Everything in writing (well common sense really)
  7. Photo of average flat in zone 1 looked really sad but I just rmbred we won't be spending much time at home anw
  8. Make sure the contract you sign is exactly the same as the contract you were shown
  9. Be very clear about how you go abt claiming back the housing deposit, get it in writing
